I've got extremely hard water here in Texas, to the point I've taken to using distilled for certain soaps. I don't find I need it for CRSW and perhaps that's because they use citric acid in their formulas? Either way, there are 3 soap brands, Wholly Kaw, Grooming Dept and now CRSW Glide that I find are head and shoulders above anything out there. All 3 have the best post shave and the performance of Glide bests Wholly Kaw and Grooming Dept especially in the area of slickness and residual slickness.
Keep at it with the Glide, you probably just dont have it dialed in. Once you do, you'll know it!

My Olfactory Hue just shipped! Can’t wait!
I’ve had Select and Olivo and sold both. I’m hearing great things about Glide.

I have a sample of Olfactory Hue that I’ve used a couple of times. The glide is truly there, impressive slickness. The scent is nice, but not my favorite, especially since CRSW generally fares so well in that area.
As slick as Glide is, I’m still even more impressed by the Oliva soap base.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

How are you guys finding your Glide soap in the longevity department? I broke through to the bottom in 10 shaves. I'll admit that my first 2 shaves I used too much, but have settled on about a 5-10 second load with very light pressure. Not that it bothers me all that much considering how much soap is in the den and it is nice to finish them off. Other then longevity, it's been an enjoyable soap to use with a scent that has slowly grown on me (Olfactory Hue).

Due to the softness of Glide, I transferred the soap into silicone travel squeeze bottles and dispense it that way. Each time I get the exact amount on my brush that I want and don't waste any.
