We decorated the house a while back. The furniture rearrangement and general mayhem unsettled Foxy.
Here she keeps a weary eye on the tree.

Toby, on the other hand, was completely unfazed as we worked around him.

It has been 2 weeks since decorations went up and Foxy has  completely adapted.

I'm betting Toby was unfazed because the heat from the wood stove, as are our 4 footed kids.

Shadow has been in front of the fire with a blanket over him for well over an hour now. It's got to be like an oven. But outside was getting brutal this late afternoon when I put the poultry to bed and both dogs were ready to go in after not much outside time.

We were supposed to get brutal yesterday. High winds and temp in the mid 20s but the winds didn't really do much.
Tonight is predicted single digits - first time this year.

Toby does love the woodstove. He is now wearing a coat fulltime and STILL lies in front of the fire. He's a Texas rescue and loves being warm.
