Chiseled Face AS

I, too, got a few samples recently. So far I’ve tried Summer Storm, which is quite amazing. This aftershave really smells like wet earth upon first application, but after a while, there is a cologne component to the scent that kicks in. I enjoy Summer Storm a lot.

The other one I’ve tried is Santa Paula. I like that it is a lot more than just a basic straight citrus scent. It also has a classy, manly scent component to it. Sadly, as many citrus-type scents tend to do, I feel that this one fades quite quickly after application. But it’s highly enjoyable for the short time that it lingers.

I just ordered these samples from Maggard.

I've only tried samples from Maggard of Ghost Town Barber, Sherlock and Summer Storm. The generous 12ml ones in the spray bottle. I hated GTB, way too sweet smelling so I PIF'd it. The other two smell pretty good and performance was good as well.

I purchased three samples from Maggard...one of them is GTB.  

I hope I like it.   If not, I've got two more to keep me (I hope) happy.

Hey Elver Gun, I may have been a little harsh with that comment. It smells good, but not one I want to keep smelling all day. Plenty of people do enjoy it though and hopefully you will too.

I have several of the soaps and matching aftershaves from Chiseled Face Groomatorium and I love them for both their performance and fragrance. The soaps lather seemingly effortlessly providing nice slickness, cushion and fragrance. The aftershaves provide the same great fragrance with considerable longevity and and I love the way my face feels after application.

Got the samples. It turns out the GTB is the one I ejjoy the most. I also like Sherlock well enough.

I'm not liking Cedar and Spice though-- it smells...err...weird.

I might pick up a bottle of GTB or Sherlock one of these days. I'm planning on buying a bottle of AS now, but none of this samples smelled better than Adagio (at least to my nose) so I'm ordering a bottle of that before they sell out at Maggard.

I love Ghost Town Barber - probably in my top 5. I have Orange Creamsicle which I also love but since they stop selling that one I ration it.

I splashed some Cedar and Spice this morning and I'm actually enjoying this scent.    So, out of three samples, three possible full bottle purchases.    



Two thumbs up for Chiseled Face!!

SHERLOCK is in my rotation.....GTB also makes a monthly (at least) showing.....to me, they are dark and dirt-like...hard to describe, but very interesting. And they feel great on my face.

I am on my second bottle of Ghost Town Barber. Great scent and performance.
