I used to have a vintage cologne/aftershave collection that was incredible. However, I moved to a two season climate (hot & hubs of Hell hot) therefore limiting what I could use so I sold off 99% of the entire collection and nowadays almost all my AS's are of the cheap variety and to be frank I am happier. I have gravitated to ones such as Barbasol Brisk, Gillette Cool Wave & Indian Old Spice, Aqua Velva, etc. I found another one called Men's Choice Brisk that I really like, but I read the maker in the USA went belly up. Sad

What are some other cheap AS's (under $10.00) that are "sleepers" as regards great scent?

Well, it wasn’t under $10, but it was well under $20 for a fairly large (150 ml) bottle when I could still order it from Gifts & Care: Floïd ”Black”. Absolutely terrific scent in my book. Too bad Gifts & Care can’t ship products with alcohol overseas anymore. They have several other aftershaves that would be both inexpensive and interesting.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

I remembered another inexpensive classic from the 70's that is still made in Europe, but hard to find in the USA: Denim (the original version). Man, I love that stuff and just used up the last of a bottle of AS I bought in 2013. Sad

Man - this should be interesting. I can't think of any aftershave splash that's under $10.00!

Not really "sleepers" but I really enjoy Clubman original and Mennen Skin Bracer. Brut is alright on occasion too.

Clubman has 10-15 scents in this range. In addition to the original, I like the Musk and the Citrus Musk. A lot of folks like their Vanilla.

Then, you have Lucky Tiger. Their Bay Rum is nice. They also have an Aspen Scent.

I don't think Brut has been mentioned yet. Nice scent.

Some of these may be slightly over $10, though all are under $15.

Apart from the original Clubman all their other AS's have little staying power. I had a bottle of the Citrus Musk which I liked, but it lasted about as long as a fart in a whirlwind after application.  Sad

As regards Brut, remember to get the bottle marked AS and not the weaker "Splash On".  Wink I really enjoy it, but have to be in the mood to wear it as I used about a 55 gal. drum of it back in the 70's when it became a poster child of overused AS's along with Polo and Pierre Cardin.

Axe (yes, the bodyspray makers) has fairly cheap aftershave splashes in glass bottles. I think their made for the foreign markets. I see a ton of them on eBay for around $10 or so.
