Also, the L&L Cuir et Epices is a pretty killer scent. One of my favorite Gratiot League Square pairings. Like peas and carrots.

Absolutely, I do enjoy Cuir et Epices and I'll try it with GLS next time - I'm rocking GLS this morning to top off my first run with B&M Beaudelaire - not an obvious pairing but I like it.

I'll throw my hat into the Bon Vivant as a soap ring! I really like that one, not your standard aftershave.

Ohhh, that's a good idea. That mousse de saxe base would be a really nice complement to the leather of GLS. I'll have to try it.

Also, I tried making a Bon Vivant shaving soap once by shredding an unscented AOS tallow puck and soaking it in fragrance + alcohol. I added too much, apparently, because my face burned like a five-alarm fire. Yikes. And that is about as close as I'm interested in coming to messing with making soap.

As far as the next soap, I'd imagine it might happen in conjunction with another CL release that's coming up in a couple months...

Ah, a bit of a teaser - is it going to be an all new scent or one of your existing masterpieces?

It's not all-new, but nothing you could buy at the moment. I'll have a bunch of fall announcements coming up next week, however.

Man, you are just making it really hard to chose what to buy next.   Are you doing this on purpose...just to mess with our minds?   Angry

Well, I can't wait to try some of this new stuff.  Happy2

Well, that and I need excuses to tinker with stuff. What's the fun in this if I can't do some good ol' tinkering?

On recommendation I am ordering a bottle of Colbeck to pair with my tub of B&M Adagio.Would like to pick up another scent or 2 when I place the order, not sure what to try so if anyone could recommend a splash for the following soaps that I use frequently.
CRSW Le Chypre Sombre
Soap Commander Passion
Soap Commander Ambition
Caties Un Jour Gris
DeLuxe Shaving 13
Thanks Roger
