LOTS OF BIG NEWS:
First of all, Chatillon Lux's aftershaves and toners are now available to Canadians at MenEssentials.ca
I know I was promising that one for a while, and it's totally my fault (things got a little hairy), but better late than never, right? Seth and Rachel have been just astoundingly helpful, and I'm so happy to have them as our Canadian retail partner.
Secondly, tomorrow (June 15) is Chatillon Lux's first birthday. I don't want to get all sappy and rambly here, so that's why I did it on the blog. The upside is that, to celebrate, June 15-22 we're giving 15% off with the coupon code ANNIVERSARY on orders placed at ChatillonLux.com
And, you may notice, that also coincides with the release of Fourth & Pine on June 20. More details on that to come, although I hear the word has gotten out on that one.

Congratulations my friend! Fourth & Pine, what's that?

Thank you so much! And I don't know how I could begin to explain Fourth & Pine to you...

Quick question for you hawns, if I may:
Is the bergamot oil (and other citruses) that you use in your aftershave tonics treated to remove the photosensitivity-inducing elements?
EDIT: I should add that I just placed my first order from your brand. Many fellow members are big fans, so I figure that I should give it a proper try! I ordered the Colonia Balsamica toner. Unfortunately the sample sizes of the Champs de Lavande and a few others were not available or I certainly would have given them a shot. I'm especially curious about the Colonia Balsamica and the lavender.

Look forward to your thoughts NeoXerxes , particularly with your knowledge of fragrances. I am definitely a fan of Shawn and his products.

I'm sorry, my business partner quit a while back (right before our busiest stretch as a company) and I have been playing catch-up ever since trying to adjust to flying solo. As such, I have been restocking like mad, but my priority has been with full size bottles and fulfilling wholesale, which take far less time and are in higher demand. I restocked aftershave samples for two scents last night, so slowly but surely we're getting back. It's just that samples are so ridiculously time consuming that they tend to get pushed down the priority list. Soon they'll be back in stock. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Our bergamot is treated so that it removes the phototoxicity, indeed.
Also, thank you for your order. I really hope you enjoy it and I appreciate your business.

No worries, I understand that you are busy . Thanks for the answer to my question! I figured I should order the Colonia Balsamica in full size since it is a seasonal offering. Depending on how it goes (I'm sure it will go well given feedback), i'll stock up on samples of your line with my next order. Fragrance is a big part of my enjoyment of the hobby, and I'm looking forward to trying all of your products!
Thanks kwsher . I'll make it a point to post my impressions once I receive the bottle. I blame you and a few others for my order lol. This has been suggested to me for some time now and I only just got around to ordering it.

Colonia Balsalmica is the one and only CL that I have not tried- so look forward to seeing what you think!
