I have free shipping on orders $50 or over, but the profit margin on the samples is WAY too narrow to be able to give out free shipping on them, sorry.

I didn't read the post correctly. I thought it was $8 for AS samples not the cologne. At 11-12$ for an aftershave sample you may as well buy the bottle. Makes much more fiduciary sense being cologne samples.

My bad.....

There will definitely be sets available, not just aftershave. I am not sure if Carnavis & Richardson has said when they will be releasing it, but I doubt they will be ready to release it by then. I looks like the aftershave just got delivered to C&R HQ about 20 minutes ago.

Today was a first for me. In the employee kitchen, a young woman (who passed within about three feet of me) asked if I was wearing an amber essential oil. I said no, sandalwood. She smiled and said, "Of course, and I love sandalwood!" What was I wearing? CL Santal Auster.

I'm pleased that almost two hours after splashing on a modest amount, it can still be sniffed by a good nose!

That's so awesome! I'm glad to hear it, too, and stories like this are a big reason why I gave in and am going to put it out in a perfume extrait fragrance next year (along with another run). Thanks for sharing!

Coming tomorrow, Nov 4, a two month run of La Forêt de Liguest, a resurrected scent that is green, dark and scintillating with floral and fruity undertones. While not a true fougère in the traditional sense, the rose/geranium and vanillic/benzoin notes play off the roles that lavender and coumarin traditionally play, creating a warmth not found in Chatillon Lux's TSM Fougère.

This is a short run for fans of our first foray into the forest and new fans who would like to experience it for themselves. It will be sold through December 31.

Aftershave, toner, salve and EdT will be available at ChatillonLux.com and soap will be available through StorybookSoapworks.com (when you buy a soap, you will receive a code for free shipping for ChatillonLux.com).

If demand is sufficient, there will be a second run of the soap, but at the moment only one is planned. There is a second batch of EdT macerating right now and if the first batch's supply runs out, do not fret, as a second batch will be available on December 1.

Lastly, due to the time constraints I've experienced lately, this was just going to be a small-scale, in-house release, but for the Canucks who would like to get their hands on the EdT and aftershave, I will be sending some to Canadian Blade Co and Top of the Chain

Notes include cypress, cedarwood, coriander, oakmoss, vetiver, vanilla, benzoin, geranium, rose, tuberose, juniper, bergamot, grapefruit, musk and patchouli

Got it all? Phew! Anyway, thank you all again for everything!
