^this. Full disclosure: im not usually a rose scent guy. However, trying out the rose santal at the STL meet was awesome. I could not stop smelling myself. Good thing I was surrounded by other crazies.

Also, while I was developing Rose Santal, I was wearing one version, and a coworker of mine, who follows Chatillon Lux and who also who likes to give a good ribbing, threatened to kick me out of a meeting if I didn't stop sniffing my wrist. It's nice to be around people where that is normal behavior.

No, not at all. You've seen the light...or smelled the roses or the Chatillon Lux Seriously, I have almost everything Shawn has made and what I don't have isn't for lack of trying but rather US export regulations or some other nuisance. Have you tried the toners? Or the salves? All equally wonderful.

No, I've only used the aftershaves. Shawn and I have chatted about the strong moisturizing properties of the alcohol aftershave, which are much stronger with Chatillon Lux than my other 100 or so splashes. At first I thought the CL aftershaves were too "balmy," and not enough alcohol-oriented, but the more I used them, the more I enjoyed them. They have an alcohol feel at first, but a balm-like feel after. My Seattle climate is perfect for the CL aftershaves, although I bought both of the Summertime splashes for those rare hot days, and enjoy them both, even though they're much different from the legacy aftershaves. Much like menthol-intensive PAA aftershaves. I'm certain the toners and salves would be too sticky for me.

I plan to order the Rose Santal, but based solely on the Yuzu/Rose/Patchouli, I'm pretty sure I'm going to like it.

I picked up the Yuzu/rose patchouli when I was there. Finally someone blended some rose and patchouli, just so happened I could buy it from the person that made it.

I like the Bulgarian rose ASL, but dont order from the reseller in NJ anymore.

Rose and patchouli were made for each other! I had to resist dropping some patchouli into Rose Santal. I really, really wanted to.

The Rose Santal is fantastic! I love the Yuzu/Rose/Patchouli but the Rose Santal is something different, in a very good way.
