Thanks. And yeah, it was a hot mess. I am sure someone smelled a smell that he or she will not soon forget, as it probably is permeating everything around them.

Did they deliver it like it may or may not be damaged? I order a few (glass) bottles of hot sauce and the vendor shipped in a padded envelope - mistake one. I received the package coated in hot sauce, wrapped in plastic wrap, with a sticker from USPS "Might be damaged".

Ha, did they sign it "Captain Obvious." That's annoying.

They didn't give any indication, and the packaging did a fairly decent job of soaking up the fragrance oil from the pictures I saw. But yeah, I don't think they gave any indication to the possibility of damage.

To be honest, I have been on a long string of good luck with the USPS, so I was probably due for something like this. No hot streak can last forever, ha

Due to the postal service pulling a WWF-level bodyslam on the original shipment of the fragrance, destroying a large bottle of fragrance intended for use in the soap, the soap was unfortunately delayed from our projected date. Luckily, now the soap can be released in conjunction with Chatillon Lux’s new branding: all new labels and new bottles for their aftershaves and post-shave toners.

The Unconditional Surrender scent, released this fall by Chatillon Lux, is a warm, woody scent with some floral undertones to provide a rich, rewarding sensory experience inspired by Ulysses S. Grant’s time in St. Louis, where he pulled himself up by the bootstraps to ascend to commander of Abraham Lincoln’s army.

The scent notes of Unconditional Surrender include amber, tonka bean, amyris, cedarwood, agarwood, vetiver, cigar tobacco, black tea, jasmine and geranium. Matching aftershaves, post-shave toners, post-shave salves and colognes are available as a permanent offering from Chatillon Lux.

More precise details to come soon from both myself and @"landlgrooming"

Quick question for you. I know your line is permanent. Is the L&L soap as well?

It is not. Only the fougère will be a permanent part of L&L, everything else we ever do will be limited edition

This is great as I suppose that they can ship internationally? Do you know if they will restock soon? Looking for both Unconditional surrender and Yuzu/Rose/Patchouli aftershaves.

You would have to ask them about their shipping policies as I do not have anything to do with their operations. Also, they will be restocking in conjunction with the February 17 release of the refreshed branding mentioned earlier in the thread.
