Charcoal Goods New Design - Hmm?

I'm not sure Brian had anything to do with the designs. The video states it's based off an earlier CG designed head that's been modified. It doesn't say Brian modified it or if they did it themselves. The handle is based off the flag, not any relation to CG for that. I hope they're not taking advantage of CG closing up shop. With that said, it is a good looking razor but I worry it would be too mild for me.

It says in the description on the WCS site... "The razor head was designed by Charcoal Goods with amazing geometry to give you a mild, but efficient shave."

The first time I watched the video, I thought he kept eluding to the initial design of the head being designed by CG, and this being based off of that but not designed by. I watched it again and he does say this head is designed by CG. My bad!

Website says 1.5Gap - Im curious about it so Ive ordered one

I don’t believe that gap, the most recent level 3 was 1.14 - seems unlikely for a mild razor

I think it is a typo and they meant lvl 1.5. I ordered one too, we’ll see when it arrives what the specs are.

I also thing it's a typo and not a 1.5 gap.  
    Seems like between 1 & 2  level in the Charcoal Goods line up.

The vedio says its level 1.50 but still a mild razor. WCS made a mistake which they will probably correct. If I remember correctly the level 3 had a gap of around 1.40 with some positive blade exposure.

In the comments for this video, WCS says this head was designed a few years ago and they are bringing it back with a handle. Unclear if CG has any involvement with the handle.

Looks similar to the head in this old rud shaves video from 2020 except the scalloped safety bar.

They also just released what looks like an update to the lithe, brawny, toothsome set, except there is now a extremely mild looking "slant"

CG “inspired”
