Available now at WCS are complete razors designed (not made by Brian) out of 303 stainless steel. WCS has been selling the handles only but now its a complete razor. By the decription they are mild but efficient razors. Not sure if level 1 or level 2. The great part about this is the price under $40 (+ shipping if you don't spend at least $45)

I believe you are correct.
They describe their handle in lots of detail but don’t do the same for the head.
yeah, I don't like it when companies do that as it can be deceiving.
As I recall several years ago (Sept 2017) I bought my first "high end" razor from WCS. It was from the collaboration with Brian of Charcoal Goods which had those exact SS handles. It was $180 and came in a wooden box with WCS branding. The reason I had gotten it was there was actual CG was more expensive, stock was limited and he was going to a waiting list (lasted almost a year before Brian scrapped it). Now that WCS-CG made razor included a head made by Brian as well and years later I discussed the shave quality with Brian who said it was similar to his Level1.
WCS has been selling these WCS-CG handles periodically without heads over the last 3 years. These current razors either have those left over handles or Brian made more handles for WCS. I do not think the heads are the matted CG SS heads (by picture or description). BTW that 2017 collaboration had a very smooth and comfortable shave.
