FWIW  Marco, I can't say enough good things about retirement. If anything it's underrated. Very few changes that others can heap onto me in retirement.

Yup, like I don't have to answer the phone or reply to emails or generally clean up messes that others made out of their own stubbornness in refusing to seek advice at the front end. Unfortuneately it wasn't usually just stubbornness, theres also the desire to be a @#*% hero and show senior management that you are a star and you're able to get the job down without having to share the glory (or the bonus) with anyone. Sorry if I sound cynical but I've seen the best and west of "organizational behaviour" and I've got no patience for the BS.
