I was using a Wizamet the last few shaves using both 0.68 and the ++ base plate. It was a nice pairing but I want to switch over and try out a Gillette Rubie Platinum Plus. Has anyone else been trying different blades in their Carbon razors? I have held off on Nacet but would like to try it soon as it seems to work great for many people.

The ++ plate takes anything I have.
I received the passaround razor & base plates today.
I’m excited to take them for a spin. I’ll likely use the + a couple times before posting my thoughts and moving on to the ++.
In full disclosure, I can’t imagine that the Carbon CX could get any better. I’m looking forward to finding out what these new plates bring to the table.

I’ve had a couple shaves now with the + and WOW!
I could tell after two strokes that this was clearly an improvement on the standard Cx.
I must admit that I’m shocked it could actually get better. I was perfectly happy with the standard plate but now, my goodness - how could I ever go back!!
I’m really looking forward to trying out the ++ & seeing if there’s any more room for improvement.
I found the + to b exactly what’s already been described in this thread, more efficiency while maintaining comfort.
So far, I’m impressed.
