Standard, based on your comment and lining the Carbon up with a Wolfman and Seygus, does that mean the Carbon did a better job on your problem areas than those 2 razors?

The picture was originally posted to compare the build quality & finish of the razors. The picture also shows the unique pins and drain hole shape

HoosierShave For my lower neck area, the Carbon is probably my best razor. For the chin area, better than the Seygus. Keep in mind comments based on only 2 shaves. However, I am happy with the Carbon Razor.

I agree with the above poster on how comfortable the Carbon is. While I don't have much experience in modern razors, there are not many I've tried where I can comfortably go against the grain on my neck, multiple days in a row, without issue.

I have to give credit to Carbon as they know that the DE world would pay anything for the newest razor so why not fleece the consumer and get the $300. People will buy it and do not tell me this is not the only overpriced and overrated razor in the market...I can provide a list of them so congrats to Carbon on joining the club of overpriced and overrated DE razors.

dmiller622/Martini,
Would you guys be interested in trying out our razor? Maybe a pass around between you...we could then raffle it off to help support the DFS forum? We would value your objective perspective with the product.

We understand the price point is a challenge for some but again we really aren't trying to "fleece the consumer" but we are also not trying to enter the $99 to $229 market for a DE razor. We believe that market is crowded already with some good products. Our goal is to build a premium DE safety razor...

We thought a 303, 304 stainless would be "me-too" product...we wanted it light, not sure of any 90 gram stainless steel DE's in the market today, let alone 316L stainless with that weight. We also liked the vintage design...

That would be cool. I'd love to see the razor in person.

why not a general DFS pass around rather than limiting it to 2 people?

Absolutely a general DFS pass around would be great. I think I might have opened Pandora's box but we would love the perspective...

Any thoughts on best way to execute? I would be open to 2 units to pass around...
