My only concern was the lack of shipping date or shipping time.

I posted early (#26) that I thought the price was on the high end. Minneapolis is known for excellent machining shops and high wages. Quantity is also a key cost factor and guessing husband & wife team implies low production quantity. I will not comment on quality or finish until my razor arrives. However, commenting on marks on the bottom of top cap shows the owners are either really honest or really naive.

Hoping my razor arrives soon and I know where they live.

Gouging only applies to essential supplies needed for living, IMO. Despite what some here may think, premium razors aren't a necessity. I know we've gone round and round about what constitutes gouging before, but this is my opinion on it.

mostly agree with you, except the essential supplies stuff. gouging is the best method to help spread around the 'essential supplies' when there's a higher demand than supply. if a bottle of water remains $1 when there's a crisis or whatever, then someone with $100 could literally wipe out a stores supply....if it's $5/bottle, then that changes things.

I would’ve given it a shot at 2-235 but not 3 bills. Looks like a nice razor. Handle isn’t for me.
Agree with you. WR2 is my favorite razor. $300 out of the box with no reviews is high unless it's a top shaver

Can't beat a WR2. That's the highest standard in DE razors

WOW just reading the boards about this new DE razor. It's new and unproven and at that price it's hard to justify jumping in but you never know it could be the next great thing. But even if it is my FOMO sense will not overcome the high entry price especially given how many excellent moderns we currently have access too with lower price points. Nevertheless I wish them the best of luck and perhaps they may adjust their business model accordingly.

FOMO another acronym I had to look up!

Fear Of Missing Out ...

FOMO noun
\ ˈfō-(ˌ)mō \
plural FOMOs
Definition of FOMO
informal : fear of missing out : fear of not being included in something (such as an interesting or enjoyable activity) that others are experiencing
Probably nursing a massive case of FOMO. That's what they're calling it these days: FOMO—Fear of Missing Out. Kids use the term to express concern about missing parties featuring phosphorescent pacifiers and music that can be heard all the way from Neptune.

Sorry I didn't explain FOMO as I hear it all the time. My kids are "that" age.

I'm looking forward to hearing reviews on this razor. I'm afraid the .68 gap might be too mild for my liking.

It's sharp and it cuts. I like it...

Well, gap is not the main thing that it has going for it. It's actually the positive blade exposure that potentially it exhibits. That's the true measure on how mild or efficient feeling a shave one can experience. Reports should be starting to show up within the next 2-3 days....
