Carbon Shaving Company Ti & Carbon Fiber DE razor pass around

the razor from CarbonShavingCo. arrived today. it came after I left for work so I haven't been able to check it out yet. I'll open it up tonight and give my initial impressions. I expect to shave with it in a few days and will get it shipped out by the end of this week or early next week.

opened up the ti & carbon fiber razor tonight. everything looks fantastic.

here's some weights I got:

titanium/carbon fiber handle with top cap & two-tone base plate: 32g / 1.1oz
titanium handle with top cap & two-tone base plate: 49g / 1.8oz

crazy light!

I did suggest to Sean that the packaging should be upgraded for his higher end razors, rather than the cylindrical tube and small burlap sack bag. while it's different and unique, I think deserves a premier package. Sean did confirm that they're looking into better packaging...

I'll likely give the razor a whirl on Thursday or Friday night and will look to ship it out on Monday afternoon. Kaotikfusion, send me a PM with your address so I have it ready to go.

I had my shave with this new kit last night. I used the Ti/carbon fiber handle with the ++ two-tone base plate, which looks gorgeous, might I add. I've never shaved with a titanium razor before but I do own some all aluminum razors and I love the feel of lighter razors over SS, for example.

the shave was fantastic, it literally felt like I was holding nothing in my hand because of how light this material is. for those with dexterity or perhaps carpal tunnel issues, you might want to give a Ti set up a look.

I'll be sending this out on Monday and look forward to using it some more once it gets back to me again at the end - I don't want to hold up the pass around with my average of 7-10 days between shaves...
