I'm new to the whole injector world (except for a brief dalliance in the 70s when they cost around 2 dollars with blades).
I got a Lady Schick in original packaging from another DFS member, and rather than try it out, I went out and acquired 3 other injectors in case I liked them. I know, I know. I'm looking for professional counseling
Anyway, one of the Schicks was sold to me as a Type G. I've looked at the information at Safety Razors and with that and a little more research into the patent numbers, I'm pretty sure this is a Type G.
What I don't know is which variant it is: I would guess it's either a G1 or a G4 (the Schick '66'). The issue is that from what I've been able to tell, the '66' came with a navy blue handle, and this one looks black. It's got the seam down the middle of the handle, which I understand is characteristic of the G1.
I'd very much appreciate any help you Schick/Eversharp fans could provide.
BTW, I shaved with it today, and was very impressed at how smoothly and easily it shaved (I used a Personna blade)
