Thats right, but I still paid the money
Counter question:
Does the seller have control to send me an original product upon request of the most expensive razor?

Wow, this is ugly, and I don't have a good feeling about the outcome.

unless he originally specified that the razor had a different handle, you're within your right (in my opinion) to ask for a refund as the product is not as described. he sent you back all of the money in USD, less the original shipping costs (I believe he told me $20-25) and you still have the razor.....

that's just...crazy!

I don't see this ending well as both have their heels dug in. What isn't being addressed is (If I understand correctly, correct me if I'm wrong) the Seller "Knowingly" sent a copy handle (Non original) hoping it wouldn't be noticed. It was and a return initiated. I understand a change in the exchange rate happened......Who should eat that. The person that was buying or the person that attempted a deceptive sale ? Not taking sides but I haven't seen anyone address this in their comments.

I'm sending the razor back today. However, I have to pay extra cause of fluctuating currency rate
1341€-1218€ =
€123 + €25 for shipping.
Yes, that’s right, I still have the razor.
However, as a result, fair for me?
I don't know

I don't know if the seller knew the handle wasn't original or not, only he can comment on that. This isn't really my/DFS 'issue' to address, but as always, we get drug into BST disputes to try to find a resolution.

what do you mean? you would of paid less in euros to get to the original $1,400 USD purchase price and then less in euros AGAIN to send the seller back what he refunded, no? I don't know that the USD was stronger than the euro at any point in the last few months.

right now, $1,400 USD = $1,258.44 euros.

either way, good on you for refunding the money and sending the razor back. to me, the shipping costs should be on the seller.

I don't know if he knew either but his "colorful" messages that were reposted here where he bragged about having a 2nd one would have me leaning to him knowing. Shame an innocent buyer should have to eat a loss if that's the case. Just my thoughts.

Coming to this discussion way late, could someone explain to me what "a super rare LASC BBS-1”, is in layman's terms?  From the photos it looks like a Wolfman WR-2, with Wolfman Handle I have seen before.

Having sat many more hours in Small Claims Court hearing people explain their side of stories to a Small Claims Judge, hoping the Judge would rule for then verses the other person.

Couple of things I learned is the longer these things drag on, the more damage is done.  Plus the Judge is charged with listening to both sides of the arguments, both sides being TRUTH, or  TRUE STORIES, as both sides are telling truth.  Because they swore to tell truth on bible to do so.

Then all the truth telling the Judge advises both parties his verdict would come in mail, this was instituted to prevent court room brawls, after one side was not happy with ruling.

Before this policy where I worked sometime after an open Court verdict  the poor Judge & Court Security Officer in the old days go drug into an open Court Brawl

Do hope in this case things being discussed resolved, and parties do not hate one another forever.  HOPE.

True, for the most part, but it is the responsibility of EVERYONE to help make this community a safe, secure and trustworthy place to

Has it been established (beyond doubt) that the seller actively misrepresented the handle as being genuine....or whether he simply kept silent about it?
If it's the latter, did he keep silent knowing full well that the handle was a replica... or was he silent because the razor was sold to him this way and he was none the wiser? I would think it's important the seller scottb7862 clear this up publicly. Neither side appears to be free from controversy here...the buyer listing the razor on eBay in his home country for full price AFTER receiving a refund of US$1375 from the seller is also not a good look at all.

It is reassuring to see you step in as mediator...this may be a private sale but what happens here also affects the reputation of this domain. Thanks Andrew!
