Andrew - that's a nice addition to the BST threads. It should help avoid the unpleasantness that we occasionally see.

Sir, how can I give you double like Smile I think, problem is solved.

I just hope this doesn't kill the value of these threads as a reference for people.

Hi, I don´t think so. Why? I understand this situation now, you can still add some comments to the thread. GLWTS, Buy with confidence, Lovely razor etc. or you can help seller/ buyer with identification for example.

I say leave it the way it is.

I agree. The market corrects itself. It should be up the potential buyer to do his homework if he doesn't want to overpay. In the case of limited editions or items no longer made, it's up the potential buyer to decide of the item is worth the asking price. If an item is up for too long then that is an possible indication that it is overpriced. When I was looking for a Chubby, I ran across a seller who had a used one for sale. It took about 2 min of internet searching to find out that he was selling a used one for the price of a new one. I did my homework and decided to buy a new one. The listing stayed up a long time. The market had spoken.

A man, without force, is without the essential dignity of humanity. Human nature is so constituted, that it cannot honor a helpless man, although it can pity him; and even this it cannot do long if the signs of power do not arise.
