Brush storage

IMHO, brushes should be kept in a brush cabinet.

I think that is a beautiful piece of furniture and it makes a great shaving storage cabinet.  I do have a question.  Do you allow your brushes to completely dry before storing them inside of the cabinet or is there some ventilation that I am not seeing?  Without being out in the air they could remain damp.  Still and all beautiful piece of furniture.

After shaving, I shake a brush well to rid it of excess water and then towel dry it a bit more.  That's it.

I think there must be enough natural ventilation (it's not airtight) and the number of brushes in rotation to allow for adequate drying.
I've never picked up a brush that wasn't completely dry, nor ever had any problems at all with dampness.

Do you have recommendation for a good stand which can hold 3-4 brushes and 3-4 razors? I am newbie and just started gathering the stuff!

I highly recommend not getting a stand for either.  You are going to probably end up with more than 3-4 so you might as well accept your fate and buy a bigger cabinet/shelf right now.

Just upgraded to this Log Cabinet, Wife was not using it anymore so now it's time to fill it up.

There are plenty of great ideas here. For me, the brushes are simply placed in a drawer with storage compartments and once a week the brushes needed for the next shave round are replaced.

Definitely right, especially if they are epoxy or different types of plastic. Prevent distortion and color damage due to problematic climate
