It's a dollar store and many things are way more than a dollar LOL. The one that kills me the most is .99 Cent ONLY stores.... it says "ONLY" yet many things are way over a dollar. Kills me
Yea these were at the Dollar General Store, to be specific. I use to pick up their Barbasol brand ASL but those were discarded about the time I started using Vitos.
But I understand what you are saying. Plus try finding a "dollar" store in an upscale zipcode. You wont find them. I think they are a bit predatory on the lower income areas.
I will let her use them till they go dull. If these 2 last as lng as the 5 carts for a dollar Atra blades, I might switch her over.

You won't find laundromats nor auto parts stores in an upscale part of town either. Predatory? I've yet to see anyone forced at gunpoint to purchase at any of these.
Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.” “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.
Just as an update to this;
My test mule, aka the leg shaver I am married to, reported back to me on the performance of this head.
She states that after 4-5 uses she is having to make multiple passes just to get BBS. When asked to compare the generic M3turbo head to the DG generic Atra heads she states that the generic Atra heads are far superior, and to never buy these worthless ******** ever again.
So folks, there you have it. Thumbs down on these in my house.

An upscale clientele was never a part of the so-called dollar store marketing strategy. That's not predatory; it's free-market capitalism that fills a niche. The buyer, regardless of economic status, still has a choice. No one's forcing him/her to shop there.

Ah so here I am forced with a conundrum.
I can further the discussion and defend my statement of how a couple of dollar store conglomerates market low quality items to poor and economically distressed areas further perpetuating their continued need to replace inferior items while no one is holding a gun to their heads to buy such low quality items. Or
I can agree to the marketing genius of a superior supply chain to stores in poor areas that sell items to people in areas that cant afford higher prices/items in more affluent zip codes and how the glory of free market capitalism has benefited these conglomerates built on the backs of the poor. Or
I can try to steer the discussion to the generic Mach 3 Turbo heads I have only found under one store brand, and that chain is only found in areas where people have less disposable income for necessities and how the heads in particular are of less quality and durability that the comparable name brand items. Or
I can resist my urge to respond in any way allowing those that want to dissect one statement partially related to my topic and allow them the last word to essentially water their ego flower giving them the false sense of accomplishment that they totally set the record straight and shamed me into a wordless response.
Decisions, decisions.
Ok you win.
The poor are less fortunate because they are stupid and a dollar store should be commended or praised for finding a way to exploit money by selling low quality items to the people who live on a fraction of the average American. Yea nobody made poor people poor(because poverty is a choice right?) and rich people are rich because they are smart. Those poor people should just tune up their bicycles, fix their broken cars, pay more bus fare, get better jobs and drive further to a bigger city to buy better quality items. That way free market capitalism can drive those dollar stores to more affluent zip codes to compete with businesses there.
Your drive a convincing argument. I can see where my thinking was flawed. Thanks for setting me straight. You have my sincere gratitude.
