About a year ago I acquired an M7 by Simpson’s with a wonderful faux ivory (I think) handle, but the knot was absolutely terrible even though it was marked Manchurian. I reached out to Mr. Sears and he kindly agreed to replace that abomination with one of his special two-band knots. I could not be happier with  the result

Agree! He is the primary force behind keeping the M&F brushes on the market in the past years. I have 10 M&F brushes with Brad's handles, and each of them is the crème de la crème.
