Here is new Updates for Blutt Razor Fans, New Handle design and some additional upgrades I think it’s very nice what Blutt has done..why overhaul if it’s perfect and make big changes it’s what I personally believe too but YMMV…

This description is directly from their site check out!

What’s new in the upcoming batch:

1.4404 / 316L instead of 1.4305 / 303 for the razor head (handle was always 1.4404 / 316L)
Increased blade clamping area by around 15-20% (depending on base plate)
Rounded corners on base plates and top cap
New handle design (current one discontinued)

I personally love old handle design and that twist but new one is nice too hands down if you like Karve it’s similar design not the same..

Overall it’s fantastic razor to own just like a Swiss Watch  Happy2

Just wanted to share with DFS Folks..

Best Regards

Where did you see that info? I can't find anything on their site.

You have any info regarding when the next batch will be available?

I believe it’s on their site I seen it, so cannot speak anything ahead without knowing much about it and Blutt release..New design of handle is very nice touch  Happy2

Get the Blutt when you can, and when they become available as it’s limited production of how many batches they make I think could be wrong tho…

I checked their whole site but didn't find anything, hence my question.
I've been waiting for months so 'll definitely get it, only undecided on the 0.86 or 0.99 gap!

With what razors would you compare the 0.86's efficiency and blade feel?

Thanks for sharing!

I really like how they focus so much on the clamping, both in the product description and the actual design. It's the main reason for my interest in it. And they improved the clamping even more in the next version!
Now if we could only get an estimated date of availability...

I got an email from Blutt Rasur a couple of hours ago announcing that they just added a ‘high gloss polish’ version of the BR-1 razor and it’s available on their website now in limited numbers (but will be replenished every few weeks as they polish more). The price is CHF 260, which isn’t a huge increase over the CHF 223 for the satin one. Sounds like it is a mix of electro-polishing and hand-polishing on certain areas to get a finish they were happy with.

Thought some of you might be interested.
