Don't need anymore blades... AT ALL!  So, yeah, I'm going to try the Sharks. Lol.

How are they in sharpness / smoothness Dave in KY , compared to the others we've both used?

Thanks.[Image: 704f68ce461b9363b09d7ced387a0439.jpg][Image: b8357eb82052f5f37e4b17e3d40d641b.jpg][Image: e7c49ba9fe7c3b9d0eebd46d46808700.jpg]

I found the Shark Platinum's smooth and sharp and bought the 300 after a sample use. $7.96 for 100 is CHEAP on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Shark-Platinum-Do...061&sr=8-1
Yep, that's the ones I bought after I responded. Really a hard to beat price for 100 blades. I'll start with 100 though. If they're really good for me, I'll come back for it's 400 siblings.

Dave in KY how is other Gem blades?

I have yet to try them as I get along with the PTFE. I will get a sample of the Treet and Blue Star off to you Buddy  Happy2

For me, Treet is smoother than PTFE.

I have tried them and they're okay. I can buy them locally still too. Haven't tried the Blue Star yet but I'll get a tuck of each to you next week Happy2

Around 1600 polsilvers. Should last for a decade or two until I find something I like as much.

Well, the Sharks arrived and I got a shave in with one this evening. Definitely not my top choice. They seemed fairly sharp, but for my tastes, it lacked the smoothness I prefer.

That bites, as they are a good price. Lol. Ooh well. At least I can say I tried them. I'm certainly not short on blades... Not for a decade or more.

Sorry they didn't work for you.
Not a top blade for me but as good as Astra's for me and cheaper.

Eh, it was a cheap experiment and I learned something. A good deal for like 8 bucks, IMO. Lol

I'm a fan of the Shark blades but the Platinum I found to be lacking when compared to the SS and SC. The Super Chrome is the one that works best for me with the Stainless Steel not far from it and usually use them for 4 good shaves and then bin it. I found the Platinum was just very rough regardless of the number of shaves. I only bought a tuck of 10 and only used 2 blades and them moved the remainders on to other shavers...

If you are wanting to try out an inexpensive good blade from Lord you should look to the Silver Star. It has replaced the Sharks for me that I used regularly in my Ti95DC regularly. Much smoother / sharper blade all around and still can be had for $8 /100 on Amazon!!

Cool. Definitely a good price, considering you pay $15-25 for 100 of many of the big names.

Like I said previously, I absolutely don't need any more blades. Still, these are worth looking into for sure. So, I just ordered 100. We'll see how they go for me.

Thanks for the heads up.
