Blade gap chart confusion??

I'm a little bit confused on the blade gap chart on B&B. I am interested in buying a Wolfmanrazor, so I looked on blade gap chart. I read on wolfmans site and his razor is at.61mm. So to give me a reference compared to other razors I've used, I went to b&b to look at their blade gap chart. That thing can't be accurate. They list the att m1 at.25mm, Gillette slim set @ 1 .56mm, Feather asd2 .74mm. ANY THOUGHTS??

Wow! Some of those numbers don't seem correct, especially, for the Feather AS-D2.

This will be very subjective, but the regular-gapped Wolfman .61mm head is above average in aggression. For me, it feels more aggressive than my Merkur 34C, which I would categorize as a mid-aggressive shaver even though its blade gap might be near the Wolfman.

Good luck with the waiting time to get on the list, then getting the Wolfman.

So the wolfman is more aggressive in blade gap than the merkur 34c?

Is your question about whether the chart on B&B is accurate or are you trying to figure out where the Wolfman razor fits in an aggressiveness scale compared to other razors?  I can not vouch for the accuracy of that chart.  However, the perception of aggressiveness is not as simple as just comparing blade gaps. While blade gap is certainly a significant contributing factor, there are several other razor design elements that determine how aggressive the razor feels on one's skin.  Some of these additional features include blade exposure, blade reveal, blade angle in relation to the shaving plane and others. For example, a razor with a .30 mm blade gap, a lot of exposure, with a blade angle of 35 degrees is likely to feel much more aggressive than a razor with a .50 mm blade gap, less exposure and a 27 degree blade angle.  The point is that blade gap alone is not an exclusive indicator of how aggressive a razor will feel.

Your best bet is to ask people who own the Wolfman razor how aggressive they think the Wolfman is compared to other razors that both you and they shave with in common.

I abandoned trying to make sense of their gap chart years ago. Frankly, I never thought their gap chart would enable accurate predictions of razor performance.

I've never looked at the chart or even given any thought to blade gap, however, I have a Wolfman WR-1 and its aggressive compared to almost all of my other razors but it does a wonderful job if you take your time and pay attention. Very efficient. In my experience the AS-D2 is not as aggressive but just as efficient and I would say the same thing about the ikon #102 slant - even less aggressive than the AS-D2 but still very efficient. I have an ATT DOC with the mildest base plate and its really aggressive (I bought it with the mid-aggressive base plate which was waaay to aggressive for me) - its probably the razor that for me is closest aggressive wise to the Wolfaman. I don't want to sound patronizing but if I had started out wetshaving with a Wolfman I may not have stuck to it. I think its one of that class of razor that requires you to have honed your technique a little bit before using it safely and thats best done on a more forgiving razor. Again, only my subjective opinion and many may feel differently.
