I think part of the downfall of the Dart was its name… and the fact it was always in the Blackbirds shadow.

It should have been called something more exotic and sexy. It also should have been released in small, hard to get batches.

It would have killed. This is one of the greatest performing razors ever, but with the most tragic marketing. IMO…

I liked the price of the Dart, a lower price is usually a great thing.
The name Dart, it worked for Dodge, I like it.
I think it was done all nicely by Blackland Razors.

Shoot, who would like a Dodge Dart with a 383 pure muscle car.
Edit: maybe I should say who wouldn't.

Better name than a Pinto.
Pretty much a name is only a reference to that item. Wolfman does work, no it's just a name.

I guess it's a good thing that Blackland went with "Evo" over "Pinto" ... I have an inside source who said it was a very close call.  Wink

Yeah, what would be a bad name for a few razor, slice, shredder, or scar. Haha

Maybe I should be clear that while the Dart wasn’t the massive success I think it could/should have been, it still sold a couple thousand units and was solidly profitable. Things don’t have to fail entirely to merit being killed off. I was also just tired of the varying reviews as I think it was a bit damaging to Blackland.
