One thing with the Ti BB is that I notice much more quickly when a blade is losing its edge. I think it's so efficient that when the blade doesn't just glide through, it's more noticeable than with a more mild razor.

I just had a thought that the light weight probably makes the razor more communicative in general. As in, small sensations at the cutting end probably translate through the razor and into your hand more readily with a light razor when they'd fail to in a heavy one. Kind of the same thing with a light car v. a heavy one. Like in our Lotus my hands can tell via the steering wheel if a front tire hits a pebble or a paint line, but our SUV drive could over a microwave and I wouldn't notice. So maybe that principle allows you to more readily notice very slight tugging or changes in the blade that a heavy razor would obfuscate.

Unquestionably my favorite razor ever, whenever the next drop is, if you're considering buying one, just do it. Had another fantastic shave this morning, it doesn't even require thought for me at this point, just so intuitive.

Bad news is we need titanium razors first before we can polish them. We're hoping for late Aug or Sept for those.

The good news is that I think we're bringing polishing in-house which will shorten the lead for polishing significantly.
