Great, but why post that here? Just to take a jab at Shane for not having his own machine shop? Did I miss the posts comparing the BBTi (subject of thread) and the Yates?
Post seems out of place a bit. I dont get the point, unless it was to throw shade at Blackland.

Not at all. I have bought many Blackland razors including the titanium Blackbird. Shane is a cleaver businessman just trying to make a living like other vendors. It wouldn't surprise me if the ERA is released soon now that the titanium razors are sold out. Shane stated it would be a long time until another ti release.

I think there is a lot of confusion about how and where products are made, which is fair. Era production has nothing to do with the production of any of our other razors and their releases are not impacted by each other. It’s not like we stop the titanium to make the Era. Completely separate production cycles. They’re both going full steam at the same time along with the production of several other products. I think a lot of this confusion around “focus” does stem from the concept of small in-house production where companies literally have to switch between running different products. We don’t have to do that. I can green light production of thousands of units of different products all at the same time.
Yes, a little strange to pit Blackland against Yates. Jake and I are friends and support one another. I’m glad you’re buying his razor!

I haven't used another razor since I got my Ti BB. Effortless BBS every time, but the biggest thing for me is how good my skin feels after. No redness, irritation, and probably the least aftershave burn of any razor I've used. Typically really efficient razors will leave me fairly red and with a good alcohol sting, but this does nothing of the sort. Really puzzling how it can be so efficient, but relatively gentle at the same time. It makes it hard to pick up anything else.

Some of that BBS shaving has to be the blade.
Have you used the same brand of blade consistently?
What blade works for you and your BBTi?
Deus Ex Machina

Are those the ones that come with the BB? I think I have a pack from my brass 101, but haven’t used them. Permasharps work well for me in the brassbird
