Blackland Blackbird. Good news and bad.

I usually find titanium to retain efficiency, but lower blade feel and soften the feel on the face.

That has been precisely my experience with the Blackbird Ti.

When is it about to be released?

Sorry for the late response! I used a bronze/brass aging solution that could be found on Amazon. Works like a charm. The key is to make sure that the surfaces of the razor are well prepped - evenly polished or brushed and free or oils and soap sediment. Keep the parts of the razor in the solution for up to 45 seconds; rinse with cold water; dry; and use some polishing cloth. Please do not forget to use rubber gloves when using the agin solution.

Looking forward to the Ti release. A SB and OC Blackbird in Ti will be a must have in my Den. Would also love to have a Ti Blackbird anodized Blue so that I can add a Bluebird to the Den as well. Got to be prepared for any SOTD that calls for some Blue.
