I've been shaving with the Blackbird for about two months. I've been shaving with DE razors for about twenty years, give or take, and with straight edge razors for about four years.
The Blackland SB has impelled me to put away my other razors, including the Wolfman, the Timeless, the ATTs, etc. They'll come back, I love them, but man, the BB gives me the smoothest, closest shave I've ever had. The OC version is less comfortable for me and I tend to get a few weepers with it, but very tiny weepers. I now use the OC only when I haven't shaved for three or four days and am in the mood.
I want to give Shane credit for making great products and providing great customer service.
This by no means is meant to suggest that anyone else's face will have the same response.
Now for the bad news. I feel no compulsion to buy any other razor, not even the very sleek Tradere.
