Now part of their regular lineup the Brass Blackbird is back. They offer it in a satin finish at a lower price. I am in.

I am in as well. I’ve got a BrassBird that is my daily driver and I love the look/feel. I’m looking forward to checking one out in Satin Finish. I’m really glad that Shane decided to bring this one back, and as always I appreciate the fact that it’s made in the USA.

I've been having to talk myself out of buying one every hour, and sending it to Allen Long for a mirror polish. Im probably going to end up caving.

Blackland Razors Shane what’s the weight difference between the brass version and the stainless? Apologies if I missed it on the website, I promised I checked ;-)

Over in the DE Razor Section in the BB discussion Shane answered.

"Brass is about 7% denser and weighs ~101g compared to 94g for stainless."

Don't buy one every hour, otherwise you'll be broke and have a bunch of razors that are all the same. Just buy one and you'll be good. Or maybe two...one to polish and one to leave as-is.
