cdude62 , I have the same handle, is that stainless or brass ? Bought mine on ebay, and the seller said it was SS, but the threads have a yellowish hue to them, so I'm not sure.  Huh

Does the gunmetal oneblade count?

I have the black (and red) aluminum Karve. I’d like to get a black oxide Blackbird, should one come available.

I've had a number of black razors in the past and they all end up with some sort of chipping or wearing away of the coating. Too much anxiety owning the caring for a black razor.

I'm not interested in deep, dark black razors, but I really do find black rhodium-plated razors aesthetically pleasing, such as this one:

For a NY second, I had thoughts of getting my Rockwell 6S plated in such a manner, but it appears SS isn't a candidate for such treatment - only brass, zamac, etc.  I didn't care enough about it to really dig in deeper and see if it could actually be done.

Check out the thread "A Very Good Mid-Aggressive $30 Razor". There has not been one bad review of this razor on DFS or any of the forums I have checked. I have one on order, based on those reviews.
Of the black razors I own, my favorite is the Razorock Lupo, and I highly recommend it. I have both the Aluminum and Stainless versions. You cannot beat the price versus performance of the RR Lupo.
