Gareth as in Gareth from Rockwell?  You do realize that the Model T the head itself has 4 pieces, the handle is 3 pieces.... If I assume you are referring that the Model T should of been machined from the get go then machining 7 different pieces would of cost big chunk of money, you might have no problem paying up to 350-400 for that kind of razor but in reality the KS campaign would of fall a part.

That's why Gareth choose SS Model T where only the head parts are MIM process, considering how good are the 6S plates and cap when it comes to accuracy and they also look good too finish wise, its also cheaper for mass production, might not be strong as chunk of SS but no doubt its very strong.... Well it was a no brainer that he choose the head parts to be MIM process.

No, he's taking about Gareth from The Handle Bar Supply. You know, the guy who was organizing the DFS group buy from Rocnel.
ah I didn't knew his name is Gareth so I assumed Gareth from Rockwell. In that case Gareth that was organizing Rocnel GB he knew of this razor, I personally sent him PM but he never took on the task. He probably realized organizing GB for razor is more complicated than any other product

A little pricey there I could buy a toggle for that

Then buy the toggle. I've read and posted in the last week the Zamack vs Stainless debate, deep angst over rising collectable prices and all of us acting like shoppers at a big box market elbowing up front at the sample table for WOLFMAN quacamole dip only to hear someone yell and point to a fearful clerk setting up a table of CHARCOAL pepperoni sticks on aisle five. Let the razor speak for itself.
On a technical note the marine steel used has qualities the industry has been working on since USS Thresher was lost due to sloppy tolerances and metallurgy.
That's American forum member's tax dollars for a successful program coming full circle into commercial applications. My inner magpie noticed an unmentioned feature. All the other fine stainless razors have a pewter finish. This bad boy shines like chrome on a east .L.A. Chicano Lowrider's 64 Impala.

Razor Emporium--I am looking forward to the release of this razor. Are you still shooting for an Aug. 1 release?

I got a mail advising me that the razor has been released but I haven't received a shipping notice yet. I'm also in the UK and won't see the razor for a while. Has anyone received their shipping notice or even received the razor? I'm keen to see people first impressions?
