Bic Chrome Platinum

The Bic did not seem any sharper than my Astra SP's at least on the first shave.

I'm convinced smoothness is a lot easier to discern than sharpness. And the BIC only gets unusually sharp after a couple shaves.

Sorry if I don't agree  I know I am new here but I can't hold my experience
with these blades back so here is my two cents worth
(I don't mean to offend)
I have still have 48 of these useless blades left I brought them years ago
I opened the first pack it was a dude so i changed razors twice in the same shave
no improvement
I waited 2 days randomly selected a blade from another pack same thing
hopeless blades
I they have sat so long now even the packs have faded
I would not even give them away
the shame attached to such an act as that stopped me
well there you have it

I bought a 100 pack earlier this year and have the same experience. By far the worst blades I have ever used.

If you would could you send a tuck for me to test? When I've made this request before the blades were indeed bad in terms of QC and not just unpleasant. I'm guessing that's the case with yours but I really would like to verify. I've never had two bad tucks in a row but I wouldn't doubt it could happen.

I had a tuck of these that I bought from Maggard's and they were amazing blades. I just got 100 more from Amazon but I haven't used any of them yet. I'm guessing you with got a bad batch or perhaps counterfeits?

I'm on my third pack of 100 , I haven't had a bad one in this pack, I had a handful between the other two.

I agree It is possible that the fifty I got are a
bad batch after read your good comments I am thinking that
now I have had them that long I just put them in the shoe box with the rest of my
modern blades and forgot them till reading this thread

I tried them and they just don't work for me. Find they tug and are not smooth at all.
