This is a subjective discussion as “value” will be defined differently amongst all of us. This difference is likely due to the factors which create value. Obviously, the price of an item will be a factor but it is not the only one to consider when determining the best value.

Personally, I find the Rockwell 6S to be one of the best values in wet-shaving today. The cost ($99) isn’t cheap but, for me, the shaves are fantastic especially with base plate #4. Plus, it provides me with perhaps the smoothest shave of all my razors. It doesn’t give me the longest-lasting BBS shave as I have two to three razors that beat it in this category. But combined with the adjustability factor and some sentimental value, the 6S stands out in my razor collection.

On the flip side, I also paid a whopping $1 for a GEM bullet-tip. Combine that with a $0.20 PTFE blade and I can shave for about 3 weeks for $1.20 – now that’s a pretty good value Smile

I have several other good to great-value items but would like to hear from others. So what products do you consider to be great values in wet shaving?

I have a 6S. If the 6C shaves the same, then at $50, that’s an even better value.

After all these years wet shaving definitely the Christopher Bradley from Karve Shaving Co.

The closest smoothest shaves (C/D/E) from an impeccably built product at a reasonable price I’ve ever used including the 6S, Wolfman, Paradigm, Blackbird and others.

Would the fact the 6S is stainless steel play any part in your decision?

The Karve is in my "Wish List" category. Hoping I can give it try some day.

A vintage Schick injector. Simply a better "mousetrap". Wink

Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.”  “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.

Only if it makes it Shave better. I have not tried a 6C so I don’t know for sure.

Muhle R 41. Bought the head for $17 and put it on a Maggard's handle that was around $10. Best purchase I've ever made. Shaves as good as the Charcoal goods lvl 3 oc, Timeless 0.95 OC, and Wolfman 0.81.
Edit 9/11/2018: Now that I have a wolfman 0.86 and 0.91 OC, the R41 is as good as them as well. The only thing is that I have to be a bit more careful with it.

My #1 & #2 shaving soaps! Stirling And Mikes Natural Soaps. Both soaps are excellent performers and also very affordable. Hard to beat them!

Happy Shaving!

I'll second Stirling. Pretty much all of their products.
