Hey fellow shavers,
I'm rather new to the hobby and I did try quite a few brands so far.
I'd like to ask for your opinions for the best luxurious shave products (if money isn't an issue) as well as the best bang for your buck.

I have tried Proraso, Wholly Kow, Ariana & Evans, Zingari Man, Castle Forbes, GEO F Trumper, and Stirling.
In my experience, Proraso and Stirling are great in terms of bang for my buck! And overall my favorite brand so far is Ariana & Evans. Great scents, and a great pre and post shave products too besides a stunning lather.

Let's hear your thoughts!

Happy shaving.

Now you went and did it!  But since you asked, favs for me are Sir Henrys Sundries, particularly Sandalwood and Black Velvet.  Declaration Grooming Darkfall s awesome.  Stirling is a great value but also a great soap and my favorite there is the simple scented Scots Pine Sheep.  Barrister and Mann First Snow if you can find a jar.  Caties Bubbles Dirty Prose if he will make another batch. Oh boy, I need to get to work!

If you compare the cost per shave, Martin de Candre soaps are reasonable and great soaps.
A MdC tub is expensive, but it lasts forever.
As far as pure performance, Ethos soaps are cutting edge (no pun intended) and as good as anything in the top tier.
I’d add other top tier soaps to your list: (That haven’t been mentioned…yet)
Chicago Grooming
Saponificio Varesino
Mikes Natural
La Savonniere du Moulin

Enjoy the journey!

Grooming Department and Declaration Grooming as the newer artisanal soaps and Tabac (tallow) as the old gold standard.
