1. Houbigant Fougere Royale Eau de Parfum
2. Panhaligon’s – English Fern
There are others, but these are two wonderful sprays.

Saponificio Varesino Felce Aromatica is a really nice fougere - my favorite green, fern-type scent. Two others I own (and really like) are Shannon's Forest City Fern and LASSC Topanga Fougere. It's worth noting that while all three scents are considered fougeres, they are each unique and completely unlike the others!

I agree that these are both great. The Penhaligon's is a little bit lighter and sharper, while the Houbigant is richer and sort of "muddy" like the scent of a rainforest.

The new Asylum Royal Fougere from Bullgoose Shaving is excellent if you like Wild Fern/English Fern from Trumper/Penhaligon. But THE best traditional fougere in the industry right now is Le Barbier de Tanger from Perfumes MDCI (http://www.luckyscent.com/product/36521/...rfums-mdci).

This thread has convinced me that there is no "best" traditional fougere but there are plenty of great fougeres.

I just tried a sample of PAA Jitterbug Fougere (Dark Fougere) aftershave splash recently and it smells great. I also have PAA Deja Fougere, which I wear as a cologne more than an aftershave. Both smell great and are worth sampling.
