Best blade for coarse hair

Thanks everyone for your suggestions, I will try washing my face abit more before shaving. I have tried polsilvers/wizamet and they were ok but I definitely prefer Gillette nacets or bic chrome as find them abit sharper. I'm interested in trying bic Astor as never heard of them are they much different from Vic chrome ?

If you want to verify it yourself tryablade.com sells Bic Astor blades if you want to try 1 or more or put together your own custom blade and quantity sampler.

The sharpness of the blade has little effect on what people sense as "tugging" which is caused when the cut hairs stick to the blade while being cut. That's why all stainless DE blades are PTFE coated to help prevent this. Hence, the smoothness/sharpness are as one. Two things that vastly improve any shave are to thoroughly wash your face for at least three minutes before shaving with a quality facial cleanser and not just plain water or a bar of bath soap. The second thing is a good shaving soap or cream. Prep, prep & more prep.

You know I was thinking about this and although I'm going to say I don't really believe it's going to make much a difference. I might be wrong and I'm probably going to give it a try. 
   So now I'm wondering what would be a good inexpensive cleanser to try, say  from Wally world?

Anything Neutrogena or CeraVe.

I feel tugging with a lot of blades. I like feathers but Gillette Yellows are smoother to me and my recommended go to. Obviously prep is important. Also how you present the blade to your skin and how the razor causes your skin to move - if you ride the cap, ride the bar, or are perfectly in between. The rigidity of the blade is also important. I just started using single edge AC-style blades for this reason.

That means faulty prep almost always, assuming you are using a good blade and a razor not too aggressive for your needs. Gillette has stated it takes at a minimum THREE minutes of beard inundation in water to soften the beard. Here's a trick for the shower (assuming you shower before shaving):  let the hot water run directly onto your face upon entry for a minute. Then wash your body as that will allow time for water to penetrate your beard. And before exiting wash/rinse your face with a good facial cleanser.
