beard oils - what is everyone using?

Iv been asked to grow a beard for a family wedding..its been a few weeks now and my beard is itching like crazy. I may have to try Proraso beard balm now..

May need to try making my own after seeing Andrewjs18 recipe.

yeah, you definitely want to start oiling that beard before the 'beardruff' sets in.

I'm looking for ideas to make two blends, possibly 1 being spicy & the other being woodsy to add to my own oil blend I mix up..

I don't know about blends, but if I had a beard I'd certainly use the Tom Ford beard oils .

I've messed with a few EO blends for my beard oil and have a few that I enjoy greatly. I'm new to this stuff for the most part, but very adventurous. Not huge on spicy stuff (and the wife LOVES lavender), but here's what I use:

-Lavender, Oakmoss, Rosemary, Bergamot, Peppermint -> it's like C&S O&C, the only catch is that the lavender doesn't have that powedery, synthetic thing, so it's a bit more "true lavender"-y

-Lavender, Petitgrain, Patchouli, Rose Geranium -> The patchouli really dominates if you let it. I like it quite a bit, but you do need a good quality rose geranium, which is a pain to find

-Lavandin, Petitgrain, Geranium -> Lavandin is pretty awesome to me. It's the spicy, less floral variety of lavender. I have some castile soap curing with this blend and I can't wait to use it

-Tea Tree, Patchouli, Peppermint -> Refreshing, I made this based on CB "Moustache Mint"

-Lemon, Bergamot, Sweet Orange, Bitter Orange, Lavender, Lime, Grapefruit, Rosemary -> Based on "Ocean Kelp", it's surprisingly fun to mess with this recipe and tweak the citrus notes to your preference. I prefer bitter citrus, so I amp up the Bitter Orange and use Grapefruit instead of Tangerine that Ocean Kelp has.

-Grapefruit, Vetiver -> Pretty simple combo, if you use "therapeutic" grade vetiver it's got a lot more spice, less of that smokiness. If you prefer that heavy vetiver, go with the double distilled variety

-Lavender, Rosemary, Thyme -> Herbal and refreshing, based this off of a Myrsol aftershave


-Grapefruit, Tea Tree, Vetiver, Thyme -> Interesting, but I'm not sure if I'm sold yet. Tart, herbal and earthy.

For the last few days I've been using Reuzel's new "beard foam". So far so good. It's got a light, sweet fragrance. Definitely ZERO oily feel to it, no shine either. It seems to soften up the beard a bit but its too early to tell i think.
Anyone have recommendations on a good beard wash that doesn't dry the beard?

Thanks for all the recommendations.  I was about to post asking what everyone's favorite oil and balms are, but was nervous about going down another rabbit hole. Speaking of, with recent orders I will have 15-20 options (ugh).  The good thing is that I seem to go through beard oil faster than shaving soap

With more on the way, my current favorite oil is Blackbird The Present Beard Oil from Birchbox.  

I think that I'm going to lean towards balms since trying some at the Art of Shaving.  I picked up their Initiative (Citrus) Balm and since dialing in the proper amount like the control that it offers. With several other balms on the way I'm excited.
