Yep, that is the one. Great gun powder note which means it's true Pimento Racemosa and hasn't been diluted too far. There are even some older bottles floating around where the bottle is a bit more gray in color and it has a Racemosa leaf in the bottle. But the scent is the same.

I tried PAA's Clasico and Boomtown. Both are nice, with the Clasico beginning with a blast of citrus before drying down to a bay rum. Boomtown is interesting with it's bay rum and leather combo. It almost has an earthy/rainy petrichor smell to it. I think I might get a bottle of Boomtown Star Jelly when I order The Shaving on cyber monday.

I had a very nice shave this morning with Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Pineapple Bay Rum soap, splash and EDP. If you’re a bay rum fan (and why would you be on this thread if you aren’t?) then you should have this one in your fleet.

Marko unfortunately I'm slow to forget the past shenanigans and won't use that brand.

Three of my favorite takes on Bay Rum. This will be my first go with PAA CK-6 Soap. It smells great off the puck, hopefully the performance will be there.

I just did a search with bayrum, no space and it pulled it up as the 3rd found. You could also bookmark/watch the thread if you wanted to by selecting "subscribe" under the tools tab for the thread.
