I got this Thor's Hammer Bay Rum off Etsey - it arrived quickly and was very well packaged. The burlap sack is a nice touch and its actually of decent quality too. The bottle is very heavy duty with a rubber stopper that fits very tightly so there is no risk of leakage in transit. This stuff smells similar to the recently discontinued Krampert's Acadian Spice Bay Rum so if you loved that one like I do and you're running low, you might want to check out Thor's Hammer. Thanks andrewjs18 for the recommendation.
I'm sure many of you have noticed, like andrewjs18 has pointed out to me, it seems that the best bay rums like Krampert's for example and the new (to me) Thor's Hammer, and well almost all of them, don't last long in the scent department. Seriously, its often gone within 5 or 10 minutes which is ok if you don't mind reapplying frequently but if you're out and about you can't do that...unless you have one of Krampert's Bay Rum hip flasks!!
So, cutting to the chase, why hasn't anyone made some Bay Rum EDT/EDP? I think there would be a market for it. Which bay rums that are on the market would you like to see in the EDP/EDT format?
Haters can keep their comments to themselves, we know how you feel.
