Can I get some feedback?
Thanks.

I have both (what a surprise). They’re nice and spicy but suffer from the common lack of longevity. More of an alcohol splash rather than a heavy toner. No clove that I can detect but then I like clove. You can get it in smaller bottles with a useful flow restrictor. The bigger bottles have very snug rubber stoppers. Hard to remove but there’s no risk of leakage.

Thanks for the feedback, Marko. Seems like a redundant purchase...
Which Bay Rum do you consider to have the best longevity?

Ethos has decent longevity but best in my experience would be Captain’s Choice and Barberry Coast. Ogallala isn’t bad. St John is pretty good. The original PAA which was then known as HTGAM (how to grow a moustache) are pretty good too.

Ok, I took matters into my own hands.
There was 2oz of this bottle of West Indies Bay Rum, to which I added:
1) 3oz St Johns West Indian Lime AS
2) 1oz St Johns West Indian Lime Cologne
3) 2oz St Johns Bay Rum
Results: Stellar.

Any thoughts on MacDuff’s Prairie Rum Runner soap for scent and strength?

You piqued my interest, so I looked it up.  Interestingly, the shave soap contains ZERO pimenta racemosa, neither does the aftershave...I must pass.

It’s nice. Not a bay rum though.

I know they make good soaps. Any experience with this scent as I have one coming now?

Interesting. I haven’t tried that one but I did have an early Crowne & Crane bay Rum. I’ll dig around and see if I still have it. It wasn’t called Bay of Rhum. Something Caribbean pirate themed. I recall it being pretty good although the fact that I’ve lost track of it somewhere in the basement…

Was kinda watching this one and saw it down to "last one" status anddecided it was worth a try. Thanks
