My solution is a "bootlegger's" version of Bay Rum using  Pinaud VIBR and Brandy Spice.  VIBR is a little too clovey and not  boozy enough for me.  The Brandy Spice is a little too boozy and not spicy enough.  The two together are just right!  Bay Rum and Cella are a really nice combination.   I have heard of some people combining VIBR and Lime Sec.  Anybody ever done that?

I’ve got those two. I’ll give them a mix and let you know.  I’ve on occasion done an on face mix- Captain’s Choice Cat o’nine Tails on the upper part of my face and either Captain’s Choice lime or Razo Rock Evil Eye lime on my neck. It works. I find if I overlayed them it tends to mute both.

I tried the blend. Not bad. Lime Sec dominant.

I pulled out captains choice splash today.  Still a nice scent.  About to mix up some bay rum shampoo in a few min.

Fantastic- exactly as advertised: beautiful classic Bay Rum with lovely tropical overtones.

AoS Oud~~Semogue 2012 SE Mistura~~Gustave Lalune Mon Fier Destrier~~St Johns Bay Rum/W. Indian Lime
I experimented with a combination of stanks.
I picked up this pair on Ebay and they had both been opened. I had a 1oz bottle of West Indian Lime Cologne
and I dumped it into the bottle of AS. That really upped the ante vis-à-vis scent-strength.
Back in the day, I had a bottle of Dominica Bay Rum w/Lime. stupidly, I sold it.
That item has now become unobtanium.
One pipette of the Bay Rum and one of the Lime and presto-chango, Bay Rum w/Lime.
And, it should be noted, stronger than I remember the Dominica being.

Marko & primotenore maybe I ought to take a shot at making a Lime Bay Rum along with the other one I have planned for spring. I ordered a vintage Rum Barrel to make my next batches.

That's a first day purchase for me...
