I go by the pid (post id) in the top right corner of posts for all contests. #2 was the first non-admin/mod post, and #80 was the last non-admin/mod post in the thread:

edited to add: I can see them as a guest so I'm fairly sure registered users can see them...unless a permission setting is screwed up somewhere.
