Fern is a re-creation of the granddaddy of them all, the very first fougère, as close to its original formulation as possible.
Oh come November, come Reserve to Canada, come Reserve to Norway. Yes please!

Give me awhile. Reserve is IFRA and EU compliant. Just have to get the certificates making that fact official.

Actually you can, I suppose we all can. There are mail forwarding / trans-shipment services that will ship on whatever you want from the USA to anywhere in the world for a fee. Alcohol aftershave, badger brushes, you name it. I've not used these services because in Canada its usually just a matter of time rather than complete unavailability. I've also learned to not even look at the things that I can't get so they don't really exist in my mind. If you want more information on these types of services I can put you in touch with someone I know that uses one.

I know it's probably expensive to do, but a cutout view window would be cool to enjoy the product view

I don't think I've actually experienced any of the classic scents these are inspired by, unless there are modern formulations that are close - but I gather that there aren't, and that's kind of the point of these.
Also, are these a limited time offering, or will they be in regular production? I think I may be most interested in the next two releases, in November are they? Still trying to figure out what to expect from those, but the little information I have seen makes them sound like scents I would like. More details are always welcome, of course
1) Not yet. We're trying to do the samples in such a way that we can have thousands made at a time, but that takes a fair bit of capital, so we're still trying to get all of the necessary funding together. There will eventually be samples, I promise, especially because they're going to be part of a really cool promotion that we haven't announced yet.
2) Regular production. And yep, the next two are still slated for November. Lavender and Fern.
Lavender is based on what Luca Turin would call "the greatest lavender soliflore of all time." That fragrance is the only one in the line that's technically still in production, but it's so outrageously difficult to obtain that I decided it was time to bring it out into the world.
Fern is a re-creation of the granddaddy of them all, the very first fougère, as close to its original formulation as possible.
That's all I'm saying for now.
Okay, looking into this a bit I now think I really need the Lavender and the Fern. Some end of year budget adjustment is going to be in order....
Thanks for that extra little bit of enticement to shove me into the abyss
