Can someone tell me what currently available EdT or EdC is close to LGC? I want my casket to smell like this.

Chanel Pour Monsieur EdT (which is hard to get in the US) and Guerlain Mitsouko are the closest. LGC was also heavily influenced by Chanel's 31 Rue Cambon and Amouage Gold pour Homme.

Well, this casts the "smells like cologne for a corpse" comment in a whole different light

Will, which version of Mitsouko? That's one of those scents that seems to have many iterations (especially when you include vintage versions) and each one seems to have a devoted following.

Modern Eau de Parfum should do you just fine.

Hi Will, I se the Barrister's Reserve is launched and shipping now. Good job. Quick question, the Barrister's Reserve shows up on MenEssentials as being sold out. Is this just the place holder technique vendors use to prepare for a release or is it actually sold out?

Thanks Will, I figured that was the case but you know, there's always that wtf moment when something you've been waiting for shows as sold out before you even knew it was available. Vendors should use a "coming soon" banner instead of sold out. I'm sure there are platform limitations as we all know (I won't mention Shopify)

How are people not talking about the Reserve!? My Cool came in today. I can't explain the scent right now but the packaging is top shelf.
I'm looking forward to see Will at this week's meetup in Seattle and smell the rest!

Not all of them have gone out yet. We've had a slight delay as a result of one of our pallets of aftershave being hung up by the shipper. I only found out this morning, unfortunately, but everything should be back at full speed by the end of the week.

Regardless, I can't wait to hear what you think of it!
