He spewed so many lies about Will and his product that I didn't even wanted to touch it. Eventually, I realized what was going on and figured that it was just about sour grapes and competition. Plus the jackass wasn't really a friendAngry Big Grin

It was a valuable lesson. B&M products are of the highest quality and I'm glad I found them.

I don't even know why I wrote this post, but I feel much betterBig Grin

Now Hector, tell me how you really feel

Hector, can you elaborate on who the jackass is ?

I have first really started to buy artisan soaps after Will was banned from TSN, so don't really know much about what was going on there......

I now mostly buy artisan soaps, of the last 125 of my soaps, the 100 or more have been artisan soaps.

I'm so glad I'm not too keyed into the politics of all of this.

Through a stroke of luck, I found DFS as the first foray back into 'traditional' wet shaving after the Method Shaving products I was using became unavailable.

The first 'artisan' soap I tried was Barrister_N_Mann Another stroke of luck.

I've interacted with Will about soaps, fragrances, lathering, etc., and have found him to be unfailingly generous with his time and advice.

I've tried many other artisan soaps, MW, PAA, Mikes, Caties, Stirling, etc., etc., and they're all very fine.

But the Barrister soaps? Just a cut above.

And, given my experience with the new base: the 42, the Adagio, and the latest Beaudelaire, I'm hard pressed to name another soap that surpasses it-and I have all the usual suspects, MdC, AdP, Nuávia, ABC, XPec, etc., etc. All wonderful soaps, don't get me wrong, but for the price and the quality, what Will has done is special.
All the best,

Michael P

Is is a very well thought out post. Excellent.

And yes, strokes of luck. Hope you're playing the lottery, sir.

Thanks!

One of these days I'll have to pick up a tub from IB and see what the B&M buzz is all about.

Stay classy Will, you always have been.

It does not exist. The amount of work required to put everything together is simply beyond my capability for the time being. However, this list was compiled some time ago. It's now out of date, but at least it's a starting point. Smile

That's reminds me of a question. Is Solstice one that could possibly make an appearance again?

It could? I'm not sure that it will, but it could. It's one of paula@barristerandmann.com's personal favorites, and I have been known in the past to bring back scents simply because my mother loves them. We'll see. Smile

Sorry to disappoint, Spencer. The product isn't technically finished yet (labeling delays). But it will begin shipping on September 10th. And Lavender and Fern are scheduled to be ready for November 1st, which is very exciting!

Apologies if you have given an update on this earlier, Will, but from a previous post of yours I had thought that you had everything sorted with BR shipping to Europe, and I was do'h'd to see it wasn't when I entered BR website yesterday or the day before. Where is the case at for the moment, is it a 'shipping alcohol out of the US' issue or a 'EU product approval' one?
