Barrister_N_Mann  has done it again. I used the Beaudelaire for the first time this morning, and it's a remarkable performer. While the original BandM soaps are among my favorites, I've got to say that the new glissant base is a leap forward. I've used the Adagio, the 42, and now the Beaudelaire, and I'd be hard pressed to name a soap that performs better.
The scent of the Beaudelaire is so pleasant-and surprising. Surprising because when I read 'Fern', 'Moiusse de Saxe', Â 'Ylang Ylang' and 'Sandalwood' on the label, I was wary and expecting a very earthy, fougere like scent. There was some of that while I loaded the brush, but after the first pass, the sweeter notes came out, and my impression is that it was a very sophisticated barbershop with an undertone of green moss.
Finished with the matching AS, and the sillage was very good for an AS. As an added bonus, the better half exclaimed 'Oh, I love that one!' So, yes, it's in the rotation
