How important do you feel the update in labeling has been for your company? Do you come up with ideas and then the graphic design team refines it, or vice versa? Do you feel like the investment to update labeling has been worth it?

Can't wait to pre order Reserve!!!

Edit: Got my notice as well, so excited for the Beaudelaire soap and AS to get here!

I'm glad to hear that you like them! It's kind of a two-part thing. The special editions and seasonals are all my direct designs; my mother, who co-owns the company with me, is usually part of the initial design work as well. The new packaging, which you can see on Cologne Russe and the upcoming Barrister's Reserve aftershave line, is conceptually designed by the graphics team. They usually pitch several different ideas to us and then we choose one as the main direction in which the packaging will be taken. There are a few underlying principles that guide each line, though. Central brand principles and whatnot.

The investment has definitely been worth it, but will be much MORE worth it when everything is finally finished. This waiting period is tough, both financially and in terms of brand recognition. It will be good to finally get it all done. Smile

Sorry for the delay, gents. We had to push everything back a day. There are still some orders that have yet to go out, but the vast majority have now been shipped. Smile

That reminds me! Barrister and Mann will be opening a pre-sale for our new Barrister's Reserve aftershave line!

The pre-sale begins at 12 pm EST on Monday, August 8th and will continue until 11:59 pm EST on Friday, August 12th. We have 1500 bottles available for pre-sale and are offering Classic, Cool, and Spice to start!

Bottles are 24.99 each for 100 ml, with FREE SHIPPING in the Continental US. We will not be shipping outside the US just yet, but we're working with our retail network to get the product out to our international customers as soon as possible.

When the system opens, you can find it at www.barristersreserve.com

I'm happy to answer any questions, too. Smile

Hi Will,

just watched the video at Maggards... you look exactly how i thought you would look like :-).

How big is the rate of international customers compared to the domestic ones?

Where are the international buyers from?

From what countries are the most orders from?

1) Like I'm twelve? Big Grin

2) It's a roughly 30/70 split.

3) Russia and Spain are tied. Britain is a close second.

It's funny, meeting you at Maggards you look nothing like I had imagined. I don't know what at image actually was; I was just surprised. Lol

1) Ha! No, more like a nice and intelligent guy.

Will, i dont get it why you wont bring back the Fougere Imperiale. I had the opportunity and got a used tub from the BST and it is just amazing... like nose-porn. You arguments i read are invalid! You have to bring it back. Make a pre-release or something like you did for Roam. Haters gonna hate, i would buy it even if the price is 50 $.

Oh man, I kind of want to know what you expected me to look like, but if there's no concrete image, no worries. Big Grin

Thank you! Smile As for the fougères, maybe sometime in the future. For now, we have other projects that are consuming a lot of time, capital, and design work. There's only so much of me, and I can only do so many things at once. Smile
