I can't see if I recommended a B&M soap but if I didn't then, apart from recommending all of them, I think Leviathan is very special and I believe is still available.

Actually, Leviathan's the Autumn seasonal, so it will be back in September. Smile

Good choices! Smile Thank you very much, WVHDRyder!

I also placed an order for Adagio this weekend.    The scent is absolutely fascinating.   I look like an idiot with my nose stuck in the soap.

I can't wait to get my nose out of there and actually use it to shave.

I'm  tempted to order the aftershave.   Does anyone know if this AS has staying power?   I usually prefer aftershaves with long lasting scents.

Less staying power than our others, but still a few hours. This is by design, though; heavy, strong scents tend to be offensive in the Summer, so this was designed to be a bit lighter and easier on the nose. Smile

I found that I prefer the scent of the AS over the soap, but only slightly. To my nose, the AS has a nice clean light cologne scent that lasts for a few hours. My current favorite, and absolutely refreshing for summer. I'm seriously tempted to order another set because I will probably use this as a pretty regular scent.

My B&M soaps arrived and I went with the Adagio first.Very nice soap once I got the water ratio dialed in,very thirsty soap, maybe more so than Stirling soaps.Very slick and protective, with a fantastic post shave feel. The only knock I would have is against the scent. It's not a bad scent at all, just not a scent that I would normally use/choose.I am sure it will grow on me though as I use it.
Funny thing though,to me the scent is similar to the way Diet Dr. Pepper tastes.I'm strange like that Big Grin but that's what came to mind while I was using it.Over all it is a keeper for sure!! Happy2

If you use it two or three times in a row, I bet you'll like it. If not, PM me and I'll arrange to take it off your hands Big Grin

I've now used my new container of Arctique soap just four times, and I seem to be using up the soap far faster than any other B&M soap I have owned. I was just wondering if anyone else is experiencing a similar occurrence, and if Will has an explanation for this. I'm definitely not overloading my brush as after three passes, I am not left with an excess of lather. I have used around a dozen different scents of B&M soap over the past two to three years, and have never used so much soap in such short a time. Here's a couple of pics showing remaining soap after just four shaves. In the first pic, you can start to see daylight through the base in one spot. I have a reserve container, just received. Perhaps I need to order another one, or two, at this rate! Big Grin
